I would not agree that insurer’s inspect rental properties every year unless there have been some &qess;iotuus" in the past. Even when an inspection is done it is often a very quick appraisal of the houses general condition viewing such things as crumbling walkways or steps, adequate porch railings, the condition of the roof and evidence of regular maintenance. As an agent I did this type of follow up inspection countless times. It was very rare to actually inspect the interior of the home unless, as I noted, there were previous issues.References : …
